New Beginnings
January 4, 2026 @ 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

It’s the time for new beginnings; for setting intentions.
Why not vow to take some time out, to nurture and care for yourself?
An evening of Yoga by candlelight; moving into stillness as we follow the thread of the breath.
Yin and Vinyasa practices followed by sumptuous Yoga Nidra.
Yin yoga consists of a series of long-held, passive floor based poses. The postures work on a physical level with the connective tissues, and on an energetic level to clear the meridians. The poses are held for 3 to five minutes at a time. Yin yoga is great for when we are tired, over-stimulated, when our energy is too erratic or mind overactive.
The Vinyasa practice is more dynamic, linking movement and breath to attain balance in the mind and body. From the Sanskrit “to place in a special way,” vinyasa aligns a deliberate sequence of poses with the breath to achieve a continuous flow. Helping to develop strength stability and balance for mind and body.
Yoga nidra or yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the “going-to-sleep” stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and we become systematically and increasingly aware of our inner world.
Warming soup, winter teas and nibbles included.
