Backbends and Inversions

Raise your own energy as you play with your relationship with gravity.
The Session
We will start with an opening and strengthening vinyasa practice exploring energising back bends as we flow with the rhythm of the breath.
We will break down some of the inverted asanas into simple easy steps. Looking at why inverted postures are so good for our health and how changing our relationship with gravity can bring both inner strength, courage and confidence.
After lunch we will practice, meditation and breath work, and finish the day with a deep nurturing relaxation.
What to Bring
You will need your yoga mat and a blanket, plus blocks and a bolster if you have them. I have some available for you to borrow if not.
